Military Officers involved?

Just heard from a team member that Fiji Live ran an article on who gave Lepani Rabo the imperative to speak out. Of course after today you would probably know that Lepani Rabo was the FIRCA officer who was investigating the tax affairs of Mahendra Chaudhry.

A quick analysis would determine either two outcomes:

1) The military insertion could be to get their hands on the documents and destroy them. Hopefully Rabo has done his thing and made sure that he gave them copies, not the originals. It could be that this was an orchestrated trap to lure the individuals involved into the open, dupe them into giving over critical evidence and then destroying it. This would enable Chaudhry to deny the allegations and no proof to surface. The copies would be discredited and the case left open forever.

2) There is increasing dissent in the military and some officers are fed up with what is happening. Note that I wrote earlier that Teleni and Bainimarama have had some friction between them in the past. And Teleni secretly resents Chaudhry and his control over the interim PM/military commander/GCC chief/NCBBF chair. Illegal of course. It could be that the senior leadership is not indeed unified but split over factional lines. So it could be that some senior officers such as Teleni are using this as a means to remove their enemies one by one off the chessboard. Or it could be geniunely that the fatal Bainimarama-Chaudhry leadership arrangement is the final straw for some well meaning officers.

The scary thing is that despite all the fools that keep saying the RFMF will guarantee security, the bloodshed will begin with them. If there is a split in the military (despite all their ramblings), they will fight each other. And innocent people will probably get caught up in their stupid tussle.
