Loss of credibility

The Fiji Police Force has gone to the dogs.

Our inside sources say that many senior detectives and officers have been demoted.

Guess what?

In favour of military officers filling in their positions.

Thats right. Many police officers who have worked very hard in the careers have lost their top positions in favour of unqualified and heavily biased military officers. Slowly but surely this has been happening over the last year. The media has not been reporting about because their sources are far too lamu, too biased or just don’t have that level of infiltration that other sources have. But it has crept on despite the constant bleating from Bainimarama that no military officer would benefit from this coup.

The inside word says the “militarisation” of the Fiji Police Force is prevent one inevitable outcome. Once this boils over and things settle back down, the Fiji Police Force will be weakened and have people who will refuse to prosecute cases against those who committed treason. Or they will bungle it in a way to protect their own.

Don’t think it ends there. Reports also indicate that the DPP’s office, Fijian Affairs Ministry and the Finance Ministry have been corrupted beyond an end. The level of interference is just to large to write about or list.

I would probably be an old man before I was to finish that list.

    The Fiji Police always had problems of officers ‘stepping over the line’ but it was always under control. Under Commissioner Hughes high standards were enforced. He would not tolerate bad behaviour. Now bad behaviour is what they want. Nasir Ali is out of control and anyone can do what they want. This is going to destroy a good police
    force and no-one will really know it until its too late and crime is right out of control. ^

    bananasinpyjamas says that he has 5000 in his moronic military.

    There are 200 officers in the moronic military in Fiji.

    Each officer has 20 guards around him at all times.

    Thus 4200 soldiers are on active duty at all times.

    There are 799 soldiers on guard and kitchen duty at any given time leaving 1 soldier to help restore essential services.

    Woops, sorry, he has just reported for sick parade.

    A little bird told me that the phone call about the fake bomb came from the office of the failed diplomat, dimwiti.

    Apparently he is so embarrassed by his rejection that he is working against bananasinpyjamas.

    Maybe he is teaming up with fullchow.

    Captain Kisitoni, the Illegal Police Commissioner, first said that police would intervene in the meeting organized by the Pacific Centre for Public Integrity and Pacific Concerns Resource Centre to discuss Fiji’s future then he said that police will only monitor the people going

    “We will make sure it is private and only those who are invited are going in” he told fijilive.com.

    Teleni expressed concern that the meeting could stir up negative perception of the interim Government.

    Teletubby should acquaint himself with Fiji’s constitution, in particular Section 31 on freedom of assembly.

    “31.-(1) Every person has the right to assemble and demonstrate with others peacefully.

    (2) A law may limit, or may authorise the limitation of, the right to freedom of assembly:

    (a) in the interests of national security, public safety, public order, public morality, public health or the orderly conduct of national or municipal elections;

    (b) for the purpose of protecting the rights and freedoms of others; or

    (c) for the purpose of imposing reasonable restrictions on the holders of public offices in order to secure their impartial service;

    but only to the extent that the limitation is reasonable and justifiable in a free and democratic society.”

    There is no state of emergency, so why the need for any restriction on freedom of assembly? The organizers could ask all of Fiji to attend and exercise their democratic right of freedom of expression and it would be legal. What’s illegal is his occupying the position of
    Police Commissioner. I look forward to the day when I see a much slimmer Teleni doing some gardening work in his denim outfit at Lovonilase. But I promise not to embarrass him with any smart remarks.

    Very true Vosavakadua, Teletubby should first of all go for a gym therapy & then get his pregnant officers to join him, as Andrew Hughes tried to do during his term. Overweight people are a burden to themselves, & to the nation’s health system & taxpayers. So Teletubby, before you give orders why don’t you organise yourself first- get FIT & HEALTHY.
