Hope you are enjoying your Easter

As the title says quite proudly.

Plenty of Hot Cross Buns and Easter Eggs. Remembering the story of Jesus’ crucifixion.

Just remember this site does take breaks to do outside interests. Sites like SV keep the pressure up and we play a supporting role in the fight against the ‘tards’ in power. The level of commitment shown by SV, Disco Bubu and FDN give a clear warning to those in power. You can’t see us or do not know who we are. But we are here in strength. And we are here to stay.

Hey, Tard Watch Fiji, for a one-man-band we think you’re doing a damn fine job. There’s five of us at FDN and we all know about the demands of balancing jobs, families and other non-blogging essentials while using our spare time trying to somehow “feed the beast” to keep the pressure on the junta. Frankly, we’re amazed at the rate of your steady output and deeply impressed by your writing skills and quality of information and analysis. Also, we note that TWF has already notched up 15 Google pages. Well done TWF! Keep on blogging, and all of us at FDN hope your Easter was enjoyable too.

A little transparency on the junta’s tactics for those interested:

“A Fijian women’s rights campaigner who was beaten by the military after the 2006 coup has won an International Women of Courage Award.

Virisila Buadromo, executive director of Oxfam New Zealand programme partners the Fiji Women’s Rights Movement, was given the award yesterday in Washington by United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice”.

A full audio interview with her will be on http://www.radionz.co.nz/ninetonoon after midday NZT
